Holiday Visits

We were fortunate enough to have family come out to see us this year. Of course they wanted to come spend time with us, but it was also an opportunity for them to meet Alayah. Our time spent together was really nice. We played many games, ate lots of food and watched movies while doing some Christmas shopping here and there. Steve and Alexa took grandpa and grandma to Chicago for some sight-seeing and pizza at Giordano's! Yummy.

A couple of weeks later, we got news that grandpa had a couple of arteries clogged and had to have a double bypass three days after Christmas. Thankfully everything went well and he is home recovering.

I remember Steve's mom working on this cross-stictch when we were dating. The family joke was how she would never finish it. She obviously finished it and framed it for my family. It is a perfect addition to our holiday decor! We love it
