We have talked about homeschooling Alayah during our adoption process. I homeschooled Alexa for four years before sending her to public school. We were blessed with many successes. Unfortunately, the dynamic between mom and daughter wasn't always ideal. But I feel that the experience is definitely worth trying it again. I learned a lot through those four years. I now know what works and doesn't. I'm more open to being "open."
The bottom line is we want to offer Alayah the same opportunities we did for our oldest. I will be sharing our journey here with stories and photos. I'm so motivated!!!
