Annual Corn Festival

Corn Fest was not as busy as past years for obvious reasons. I decided we would spend time at the carnival and the petting zoo this year. We did not go to the Log House to shop, we did not go to the Craft Fair, we did not watch the fireworks, we did not go to the parade nor did we do much of anything else. Just the carnival and the petting zoo. AND I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED IT! Corn Fest is a five day affair and although we tend to go downtown all five days in past years, we all opted to keep in low key this year.

Aleyah enjoyed her first carnival. She really didn't understand what everything was about when we first arrived at the carnival. Once she got on the first ride, she was running to the next and the next! If she were allowed, she would have went on the bigger rides with big sister. Speaking of big sister, Alexa loved having an excuse to go on the kiddie rides and did a great job showing Aleyah around. After about an hour or so, Aleyah and I headed home and Steve and Alexa stayed behind for more fun. Alexa met up with three other friends and had a blast! She went on the Zipper for the first time and LOVED it! She went on it about three times total!

Next year we will be ready for ALL of it!!
